Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is left fuming after his side are thrashed 4-1 by Blackpool to go out of the Carling Cup.

"Certain players did not perform, it is clear this is not what we expected," said Martinez.
"There are certain standards that are not acceptable in our club, and the players should know that.
"We were never in contention to win - and now we are out of the League Cup, which I am upset about."
